Major Product Updates for November 2020
New interface of key pages, data aggregation, abuse reports, and many more.
Every day we receive messages of how you love the interface of our service, and we’re grateful for that. That’s why we’ve decided to improve it even more. In fact, we developed many small useful features, and we hope you’ll enjoy them, too.
So what’s new and important for target Domain, IP, and Technology overviews:
Interface of the target pages is changed! Completely changed! If you still remember, previously, data was displayed in endless tables. From now, fewer tables, more linear structure with tiny, precise info blocks. Our core technical engineer called the overview pages ‘nice and interesting’. And we hope you agree with it 😉
Data aggregation. The clock is ticking; we save hours of your reconnaissance time. Now you see more than information. You see data aggregation and summary pointing you where to go on searching.
Abuse reports! We started showing complaints on IPs and signaling about their malicious activity. That should give you the idea that your server could’ve been hacked and has become a part of a botnet.
Subpages with Advanced search. There’s no need to manually search any related entity because now most of the subpages come with Advanced search. (Find them in the sidebar and click). Add filters, delete filters, adjust filters. Do everything to specify and narrow down your search easily.
1 Domain – 1 Organization. Earlier, when searching by a domain, you could see a list of organizations that were related to the target. But it wasn’t clear enough which one was more likely primary. Now you see only the main organization from that list with the highest revenue range, and it’s no more confusing.
Domains with the same MX, NS, A records are displayed immediately. We know it’s one of the most important things you need to check first while recon, so we put it closer to the page’s top.
Domain’s current certificate info comes with new status badges. They immediately show whether the certificate is active or not, trusted, or has issues with an expiration date, host, or authority.
Full list of SANs. Just wanted to say they are all in one place now, and if you click the SANs with asterisks, (and then ‘view details’ in the context menu ;)), you’ll go searching by a parent domain.
IP hosts with the same title – you should check it out, especially when it has fewer results. It’s the best chance to find a real IP address.
Open ports on IP with a JSON button. Made for you to view banner details of all open ports at once, or click it just for fun!
Websites on ports. Who detects websites hosted on open IP ports? We do. And if suddenly you wonder how many domains with the same favicon or the same title exist – we will show you.
Certificates on IPs. We gather data of issued certificates for domains on IPs. In Subject Organization, we show the aggregation by organizations from certificates.
IPs using this technology. The new section includes an IP list and map showing the top 3 countries with the highest number of IPs using current technology.
Domains using this technology. It has already existed, but there’s something new – a section with Alexa’s top domains, which use current technology. If the technology is way vulnerable and used by a popular website, the owner must think about its security.
Let us stop here, please 🙂 We say for sure, soon it’s gonna be even more of news. Are you ready?
